Billcue holds every bill in one place and reminds you before each due date, so a forgotten bill does not turn into a late fee. No bank connection, no account, no ads.

Billcue has not been released yet. This page is live so that support and privacy links work from the moment the app is submitted. If you are reading it before launch, the answers below describe how the app is designed to behave.
In order: (1) notifications are allowed for Billcue in your phone's Settings — if you tapped Not now when the app asked, this is almost always the reason; (2) the bill has a due date, and that date is in the future; (3) your reminder timing is set to a lead time that has not already passed — a "3 days before" reminder cannot fire for a bill due tomorrow; (4) battery saver or Focus / Do Not Disturb modes are not suppressing notifications. Billcue shows a banner on the home screen when reminders are off, because an app that cannot warn you is broken.
Open a bill and pick the reminder timings you want, or set the default for new bills in Settings → Default reminder timing. The free tier includes one reminder per bill (3 days before). Billcue Pro adds more lead times — 7 days, 1 day, and the morning it is due.
No. The text is read on your device by your phone's built-in text recognition. The photo never leaves your phone and we never receive it — or the text taken from it. Scanning also works with no internet connection. Always check the fields it filled in before saving; the marked fields are the ones it guessed.
In your app store, not in Billcue — we never hold your payment details, so we cannot cancel for you. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Billcue. On Android: Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Billcue. If you are in the 30-day Annual trial, cancelling before it ends means you are not charged. We also send a reminder 7 days before it renews.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us — see the Terms. For iOS, use reportaproblem.apple.com; for Android, use the Play Store order history. Email us and we will point you at the right form, but we cannot issue the refund ourselves.
Settings → Restore purchases, while signed in to the same app store account that made the purchase. This is also what to use after reinstalling or moving to a new phone. If it still does not appear, email us and say which store and which plan you bought.
Not in this version. Your bills live in a database on the device you entered them on — that is what makes the app work offline and keeps your bills off our servers. Two-way sync with someone in your household is planned for a later version. What you can do today is send one bill to someone: they get a link that pre-fills that bill in their own copy of Billcue.
They are deleted with it, and we have no copy to restore — we never had one. If you keep bills you cannot afford to lose, keep your own record too.
Email hi@trucph.am and include, if you can: your phone model, the OS version, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps more than a description. You do not need to be polite about it — a blunt report is a useful report.
